Piquillo Peppers stuffed with minced meat

This is probably one of my favourite dishes. It is one of those dishes that I can remember loving, since I was a child.

Set aside some piquillo peppers for the sauce.

Cook the minced meat with onions, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper, and add a bit of flour. Cook it for a minute and add a little bit of milk, so that it thickens. Let it cool down.

Stuff the piquillo peppers.

Cook the remaining peppers with some cream, and then blend.

Now cook the stuffed peppers in the sauce for 5 min or so, and its done!

    Hi, I love this dish. I had it when I was visiting Basque country, but forgot to ask for the recipe. So, I thank you for giving us the recipe, but I do have questions to ask. Where can I get piquillo pepper in the U.S? Also, what it the recipe for the sauce? reading from your recipe, it seems only have 2 ingredients, remaining pepper and cream, is that all? Thank you!
